A group of Ukrainian journalists visited NRCERM

As a part of preparation to the upcoming visit of the Government of Saint-Petersburg headed by the Governor V.I. Matvienko to the Republic of Ukraine a group of Ukrainian journalists visited the Federal State Institute of Public Health NRCERM, EMERCOM of Russia on April 2nd, 2010.
After the demonstration of the main diagnostic and treatment departments of the clinic № 1 there was an interview with the director of the Center, Professor S.S. Aleksanin, during which the guests obtained detailed information about the main activities of the Center including the activities of overcoming the consequences of Chernobyl disaster. The things that aroused a vivid interest were the report concerning construction stages of the clinic № 2 with new medical technologies and the prospects for future mutually profitable partnership connected with the opening of the clinic.
Discussing the international cooperation director S.S. Aleksanin expressed his assurance in renewal of scientific communication with the Ukrainian colleagues which hasn’t been maintained for some time.
